Studio classes include
Early morning flow / Vinyasa flow- a sequence of poses linked by breath and movement - a fluid practice. The early morning flow is designed to wake the body, then to tone and strengthen. Suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner
Hatha Yoga - slower and more considered practice which focuses upon the posture [asana] and the breath [pranayama]
Gentle Yoga - hatha - simple sequences using props so the postures are easy to access for all.
Astanga - powerful sequence of postures, a more energetic / physical practice
Yoga Fit - Designed to tone, lengthen and strengthen the body, burn calories and be super fun! There is work with weights, resistance bands and aerobic movement along with yoga stretches. Designed to tone and assist with weightloss.
Total Barre - think legs bums and tums with a little bit of ballet... perfect for long lean and tones muscles
Pilates - mat work and standing work
Zumba - latin based aerobic workout
Julie Whitby is a Yoga Alliance 500 teacher, registered in the UK & USA, Zin and Stott Pilates accredited. She and has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for 10. Her classes that are designed to benefit mind body and spirit, [with the odd challenge thrown in!]
